How much would it cost in gas if you drove a newer Ford Focus that got max 40 miles to the gallon from Springfield Ohio to Myrtle beach - 1

If you really got 40 mpg, it would take about 16 gallons

if you got gas at 2.10, it would cost 33.60

614 miles divided by 40 is about 16. WHY do you think you will get the theoretical maximum obtained by a perfect car in perfect conditions?
Are your tires correctly inflated, is the Air conditioner OFF. Windows Up or Down.
Any people as Passengers any stuff in trunk.
Will you go at constant speed?

Holiday Weekend Gas prices are higher.
If you are trying to budget your expense good idea to have a little extra.

Really you are going EXACTLY 614 miles and not one inch more? Maybe a stop for Food? A detour for an accident or construction.

Failed 3rd grade math and 4th grade map reading, did you?

EPIC FAIL

Hi so you fell for that story well sunshine Fords claims are well off the mark you had better believe me. Have a car that is supposed to do 56mpg well what a joke. Brand new now 2 months old and is a 2 litre ford galaxy which averages about 24 mpg at best. On an extremely long run at 50mph the trip counter reads 99.9mpg. Which is a joke as well as the tank full did not go further it did the 24 mpg as usual. So the devices tell lies as well so i wonder if FORD will cough up like VOLKSWAGEN had to when making false claims on mileage.

The 'toll-free' distance, according to google Maps, is 637 miles

640 mi (1 gal/40 miles) = 16 gallons of gas

What is the price per gallon? IF $3.00:

16 gal ($3.00/gal) = $48

Even if you know the number of miles per gallon we don't have a clue if you're hauling a lot of fat people or luggage or the roads you are taking!

$42

That would depend on the cost of gas plus thats is probally a epa estimate on fuel usage its 660 miles based upon my figures witch a close to reality it would cost about 50 bucks in gas
