Ford Focus vs Honda Accord?
I'm 16. My options right now are a 2005 focus or a 99-2001 accord… Which one is a better car? Just curiously which one should be faster?
I Would Have To Go With A Banana
The Focus from 2008 on is a pretty high quality car. The 2005 wasn't so good. But a 16 year old Accord is probably going to be pretty ratty. You'll likely spend more bringing it up to snuff than you paid for it.
Neither car is made for LeMans or TransAM. These two cars were intended to drive at a maximum speed of whatever is posted on the side of the highway, therefore both are equally fast. And it's difficult to geuss as to which car one would suggest for purchase as there's no mention as to the condition of the vehicles. The Ford is newer, but that wouldn't mean much if it has 3 times the míles on the odometer.
Fast isn't an issue that you need to be concerned with. Both are more than capable of reaching safe highways speeds. Determining which car is better is done by looking at the maintenance records and the repair history of each car. Comparing overall condition and how each car drives is what you need to be concerned with.
There's no other way to determine if a car that is more than 10 years old is still reliable or not.
Forget fast.
Newer might be better.
The Accord is a much better car.
- Ford Mustang GT vs Honda Accord? Ok, so this upcoming year I will be a senior. I plan on asking my parents to buy me a Ford Mustang GT (31k) or maybe just a V6 (22k) for senior year. I already have a car, which is a 2012 Honda Accord. It has has about 22k miles on it. I just wanna know if ford will last me throughout my college years and maybe when I have my own job, or should I just stick with my Honda accord. (I hear Hondas last long).
- First Car: Ford Mustang or Honda Accord? I'm turning 16 soon and debating on getting either a 1999 Ford Mustang V6 or a 1997 Honda Accord as my first car. Please choose one and explain why.
- 2016 Honda Accord Coupe vs 2015 Ford Mustang V6? Which one would be better for a first car? I'm Under 25 so insurance may be a problem for the mustang, I plan to keep the car until I graduate college or a year before that. I also care about looks more than speed. Also I want to know which one is cheaper to maintain since I live in the USA.
- Should I get Honda Accord or Ford Fusion? I can't decide between this 2 new cars, both are nice but I heard Ford Fusion has lots of options, safety and durable than Honda Accord, is this true?
