Ford Focus heater problem? - 1
MY Ford Focus ( TDDI 1.8l 2003) has some issues with heater - it does not work at all. It spins the fan and only cold air comes out. Everything else regarding fans and AC works fine just no warm air. After examining relay box under the hood I think that heater relay is missing. Can missing relay cause heater to not work? Is there even relay that is responsible for that?

You live in an age in which cameras do focus themselves - generally successfully. First, the relay box has a position for every possible option that was available in that car, so it is normal for there to be unused slots. Now, when you say the fan is working, the interior heater blower fan or the radiator cooling fan? The usual cause of no heat is low coolant, so make sure it's topped-off. Also, there's a design flaw in one of the parts in the cooling system that could also be leaking coolant. The thermostat housing in on the end of the head and is a 'plastic' block, where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine. The sealing surface of the housing to the engine head uses one O-ring that sits in a groove cut into the 'plastic' housing. On some of the housings, the groove for the O-ring is cut too close to the back edge of the block. The groove lip cracks because it's too thin and allows the O-ring to be pushed out a bit and leak coolant. So, if it is losing coolant and that's why the heater isn't hot, see if it's leaking behind that housing.

- Heater isn't hot enough in my car, is there a way to make the heater better? I drive a 1998 Ford Taurus Wagon, the heater on it is alright but when it's 10 degrees outside it kinda sucks. Is there an actual way to make your heater hotter?
- Car acceleration problem and idle problem. The car is a 2003 Ford Taurus? . When the car is running and in parked its making a loud consisted rev noise. However the rpm needle thingy is not moving. when i'm in drive the car acclerates on its own with the speed ever increasing. i did some googling and learned that it can be the TPS sensor or the idle air intake valve, among a million other possiblities.
- 2000 Ford Taurus SE Wagon Heater Problem? The heater doesn't work. We flushed the heater core hoses with coolant and they are not clogged, what is the reason for the heater not working? The heater works, just very very light.
- What could be the problem if the coolant drains fast and once it drains out the heater doesn't get hot? There's also a smell to it, and the coolant only last for about 2 days… What culd the problem be for a 2010 ford mustang
