Ford Focus 2009 drive shaft?
Hi the right (drivers side) drive shaft in my car was damaged and i replaced it but there's a rattling noise when going over bumps.
I was wondering if there's meant to be a little bit of free play on the bearing closer to the wheel hub? If you have any other solution please help
Hi so what you are telling us is there was more damaged than just the drive shaft. So it needs to be inspected and other parts replaced also.
I recommend taking your Focus to a Ford Dealer to be properly diagnosed. Ask to speak with the service manager. He'll be in the best position to look into your concern and advise of the next steps.

So I have just removed my tail shaft in My ford falcon ba mk2 xr6 and replaced the centre bearing and uni joint, after I had put it all back in the car, as soon as I try drive over 20km I hear a loud knocking noise and the car vibrates aggressively, what have I done wrong, could it be the cv joint? When I put it back in I didn't really know how to do it and just had a guess.
- Is it bad to drive with a faulty output shaft speed sensor circuit? My transmission light came on yesterday so I did a code check and got the code P0720 and P0722 meaning the speed sensor is not working properly. Is it harmful to drive the car with it malfunctioning? I drive a manual transmission 2001 ford focus, I haven't noticed any change in the way the car drives or shifts.

I have a ford focus zetec 2001, it's just had MOT done and they had to replace the crank shaft, I was told that because it had been replaced it would probably only last a week but could last longer, I just wondered if anyone else had had this problem as I'm scared to use the car now, Tia Sorry crank shaft sensor
- 97 Ford f150 4x4 5 speed front drive shaft? Hi i'm looking ay buying a 1997 Ford f150 single cab short bed 5 speed originally it was a 4x4 but they have done a motor swap to a carbed 302 from a mustang. They didn't reinstall the front drive shaft but I believe the transfer case and everything is still there. Can I just buy a front drive shaft and hook or back.up and have 4x4? I think the truck was originally a 4.2 v6 also.
