Ford falcon ba mk2 xr6 drive shaft noise and vibration?
So I have just removed my tail shaft in My ford falcon ba mk2 xr6 and replaced the centre bearing and uni joint, after I had put it all back in the car, as soon as I try drive over 20km I hear a loud knocking noise and the car vibrates aggressively, what have I done wrong, could it be the cv joint? When I put it back in I didn't really know how to do it and just had a guess.
Sound like u-joint installed incorrectly. I would not be driving it. You don't want to know what a broken u-joint feels like.
- Help Ford XR6 or XR6 TURBO? Looking at buying a new Ford xr6 Ute but the sales person is trying to upsell me to the XR6 turbo. Maybe because I'm a female he was giving very vague responses to my questions on the different specs and I was just hoping someone on here would tell me honestly which is the better buy.
- Ford Falcon XR6 Muffler? I have a stock Falcon XR6 2005 and was wondering what muffler i could put on it to improve sound, i want to know if its possible to buy a muffler that would fit straight onto the stock exhaust, if so what are your suggestions?
- Is it bad to drive with a faulty output shaft speed sensor circuit? My transmission light came on yesterday so I did a code check and got the code P0720 and P0722 meaning the speed sensor is not working properly. Is it harmful to drive the car with it malfunctioning? I drive a manual transmission 2001 ford focus, I haven't noticed any change in the way the car drives or shifts.
- Ford Focus 2009 drive shaft? Hi the right (drivers side) drive shaft in my car was damaged and i replaced it but there's a rattling noise when going over bumps. I was wondering if there's meant to be a little bit of free play on the bearing closer to the wheel hub? If you have any other solution please help
