Ford focus 1.4 zetec engine hesitates?
When driving in a straight line the car drives fine, but when it comes to slowing down to make a left or right turn the car tends to hesitate or judder, as if the fuel pump is loosing pressure or the gas tank is running low. Have replaced the filter and given the car a service. But still same problem.

It doesn't go pass 25 mph but will reach 5 rpms! Changed spark plugs and wires! Also changed coil pack! Both converters are working properly! Check engine light is not on! Doesn't run hot! Tire pressure indicator comes on though! Not sure what my next step is! I need help!
- Why does my 04 Ford Mustang hesitates to accelerate? My car stars up great and the transmission seems to work perfectly. However when I hit the gas, my cars hesitates to speed up. It vibrates to shift gears if I go easy on it. If i go a little hard it pulls back and then makes the shift. I have notice that when it is hesitating to accelerate I can help him by hitting the brake just for a sec and the hit the gas. Note; it has an automatic transmission. Sorry if i did not explain well.
- Ford Focus 2001 Zetec Engine query? I have a 2001 1.4 automatic ford focus (UK) It has been struggling with accelerating and i have been told its a pipe that has a hole in it. Its apparently a common fault on Fords and its where they "suck in and eventually just collapse on themselves" If i was going to order this part, what is it called? Is it a breather hose? If you are looking at the engine you can see it just underneath at the front.
- Ford (Fiesta) 1.25 Zetec engine vs 1.3 Endura engine? Although the Zetec is perhaps a smoother engine I've also read the Endura engine is a simpler design and there's less that go wrong with it i.e. Chain driven timing belt and less electronics.
