Is the intake aftermarket/stock I'm mean common with the no detail. It's likely that the values being read by the computer now don't match what they are suppose to. So the computer says that's not right and sets a code and then the engine light. The stalling is probably due to a lean air fuel mixture at open throttle and that is probably happening because of the wrong air reading and amount coming in trough the intake and the car is trying hard to run right and it can't doing anything but the wrong thing because you've provided it with nothing but wrong answers.
