2002 power window off track on Ford Focus. How much to fix? - 1
Hi it needs the door panel to come off and spare parts needed.
Up to $200-250 I suppose
At least you have told us what car it is which ought to help however the unknowns are -
What has gone wrong to make this happen and so what parts are needed.
Your location which will affect prices of parts and labor/labour
Parts prices
Labor/Labour prices which like the parts no one here will have a list of.
Some faults on cars require a degree of dismantling and examination before the fix can be made and this itself cost labor/labour money. THIS FAULT IS ONE OF THOSE. A workshop will give you an estimate of the cost. That is an estimate and not a fixed price quotation as that is impossible before work commences. Once the costs of the new parts is known they will be able to give you a more accurate price though the labor/labour part of the cost may remain an estimate at that point.
Sadly too many car owners do not get the above which then results in them thinking that they have been ripped off by the workshop that has not bothered to explain fully.
The price of a new window regulator assembly and 2 hours labor charge.
- How to fix window from 2006 Ford F150 that isn't power window but rather manual? My window seems to roll down perfectly but when I try to roll it back up it makes popping noises and is very difficult to roll back up and I have to use my hand to push it up. My Windows are not electrical but they have have the old style manual roll. It's the passengers seat. If anyone knows how to, I'd be happy to know!
- How much to fix a car window? I went somewhere with my friends, and one of my friends had their window down. When we stopped she was like "I forgot to put my window up" so I restarted the car and flipped the window switch. Nothing happened. Low on resources we decide to go back home to get duct tape and pull the window up as far as it'll go and tape it there (the window just drops otherwise) It was a sudden and strange thing to happen! My car never had this kind of problem before! My car is a 2004 Ford Escape
- Can I fix my 2014 car to supply power after I turn off ignition? I have a 2014 Nissan Rogue Select and when I turn off the ignition I lose power to the radio and anything plugged into the cigarette lighter ports. My 2008 Ford Escape let the radio play for 20 minutes and let things keep power/charging that were plugged in. I liked that feature and would like to see if its possible to "fix up" my newer car like that?
