Sometimes the fuel vent line and vent in the fuel cap can get slightly clogged, might want to have that checked.
Offhand guess would be that the leak is in or near the Top - not the Bottom. Since that's also where the connections for pump and fuel line are you can hope that's where the leak is rather than a crack/hole.
A leak is caused by a leak.

- My 1996 ford ranger will not start right away after filling up with gas? I turn the key and the starter just keeps trying to catch but engine never does. I've replaced the fuel filter, fuel lines and sensor in the fuel tank. Spark plugs and wires, alternator, timing belt, starter and battery are all less than a year old. I don't let the gas tank get below a quarter of a tank.
- My 2000 Ford Windstar has a coolant leak. What could be causing it to leak? It has two leaks. One is from the passenger side near the front tire and the second is right below the driver's seat. I have to replace the coolant after I have had the heater on for a bit. I never have it on for more than 15 min. Not because the coolant runs out in that time but I just don't use it for long. I took it to the mechanic and he stated it was the "lower intake manifold gasket". I'm asking if anyone has any other ideas because that repair is pretty pricey.
