Throttle Body On A 2011 Ford Fiesta SEL?

A warning light came on recently with a message saying engine malfunction. The car was losing power and wouldn't accelerate past 50mph. Then the engine light came on as I slowly drove it to the dealership. They pulled the codes, ran some checks, and came back to me a couple of hours later and told me the throttle body needs to be replaced. I was shocked, the car only has 51,000 on it.
The part with labor was going to cost $800 to fix!
I'm currently looking at getting a 2nd opinion, but I wanted to throw it out to the community.
What does a part like this normally cost brand new? Are they ripping me off?
I have had a very good relationship with this Ford dealership and always took my car in for service there.

I'd be getting a second opinion from another source. TBs are generally not wear components… Especially with only 51k miles.

Did they tell you the codes from the computer? I think the MAP unit is an 0101 code but Autozone or equivalent will check the codes for free. If the code is for the MAP then I would get a price from a reputable shop nearby. Probably do it for 2/3 the money.
