Should i buy a Ford Fiesta ST Replica?
Okay so i'm 17 and i've just passed my test, now i'm looking for a car. I have roughly £7500 and i've searched top to bottom for a perfect car. I'm stuck on a Renault Megane Monaco GP special edition, Honda CRZ, Renault Clio white or ford fiesta Zetec S.
Now… I learnt to drive in a 2015 fiesta and i can say its nice to drive, everything good about it. But the regular fiesta is boring and looks girly. So i've chose the Zetec S white 2013 with the face lift (new grill). BUT… There's various Ford Fiesta ST replicas that are the exact same price! There's a white one that look just like the real thing, the only reason id get the replica is because it looks better than the Zetec S.
So, should i get it instead of the Zetec S? Also would anyone be able to tell other than the power? Obviously it won't sound as good but would someone be able to see its a replica just by looking at it?
I'm not bothered about it being a replica because its just like the Zetec S but with an upgraded interior and body kit, so the power factor doesn't bother me… But what do you think? Could i lie and say its really the ST? Also are there any complications such as because this guy has put all the ST parts into his fiesta is it safe? I'm just being picky but i have OCD about anything that isn't factory approved haha, thanks anyway!
You will probably need most of that £7500 for the insurance for any of those cars. You're looking at 4 grand for a basic clapped out mini.
The first thing to do is to ring up and get quotes for insurance… That's no1. And remember the quote you get will be for a standard version… Ask them about the replica and they won't want you… At any price… Any mods must be notified… They don't really want you. And who can blame them? Young people 17-24 make up 5%of drivers yet are responsible for over 20% of deaths on the road… You mess them around and don't tell the truth. And they find out… You will be in those 57seaters for years to come… No insurance. No drive… So be sensible
In the US you would be mocked loudly and often for trying to pass your car off as something it's not. What would you do if someone wanted to look under the hood/bonnet? Don't be that guy.
My daily driver is a Mustang GT (4.6L V8), it looks pretty stock, the only visual mods are the Mach 1 chin spoiler and Mach 1 grille delete, and it's been lowered. But it does have a Kenne Bell supercharger, flowmaster exhaust, off-road X pipe, CAI, bigger TB, etc.
comprehensive insurance coverage costs me about £750 a year
- Where do i start building my own Replica super cars? I have a list. I want the Lamborghini Murcielago SV Lamborghini Aventador SV Shelby GT350R Ford GT I don't want to buy kits. I want to MAKE the kits. How do i start? (I sculpt as a hobby) So i know how to sculpt. I've made several small sized sculpted cars. What i want to know is what type of material is used to make the body? I would prefer something cheap as hell. What type of material do those sellers make their kits of? Is it Carbon Fiber?
- Why would people buy a Toyota Hilux when they can buy a better, superior Ford Ranger? I owned a 2010 Toyota Camry and it broke down in 2011 upon reaching 0.6k miles. I treated it like a baby and it failed and disappointed me. My friend also owned a 2008 Toyota Tacoma and it failed to start in 2009 upon reaching 8k miles. And the mechanic said it was impossible to fix. However, my uncle has a 1965 Ford Falcon with over 750k miles on its clock and it still runs like new and he never even changed its oil since he bought it.
- Could Ford manufacture a replica 1965 Mustang if I had the money for it? I ask because I'm not sure if there are laws that prohibit car makers to produce vehicles that don't meet modern safety standards.
- Should I buy a Ford Focus Zx3 or should I look for a different car? I'm a male going to college as a sophmore next semester (this car will be my first car). Should I buy a stick or an automatic (I don't know how to drive a stick at the moment, but I'm willing to learn)? What do you think would be more fun? Do you think a ford focus Zx3 is a good car for me or do you have any other car suggestions?
