Where do i start building my own Replica super cars?
I have a list. I want the
Lamborghini Murcielago SV
Lamborghini Aventador SV
Shelby GT350R
Ford GT
I don't want to buy kits. I want to MAKE the kits. How do i start?
(I sculpt as a hobby) So i know how to sculpt. I've made several small sized sculpted cars.
What i want to know is what type of material is used to make the body? I would prefer something cheap as hell. What type of material do those sellers make their kits of? Is it Carbon Fiber?
Fiberglass, steel. Aluminum, plastic, rubber, and several other materials go into the body.
Basically, you need to build up a fabrication shop.
Will need to cut, weld, form and bend metal.
Short list:
English wheel.
Metal break.
Tubing bender.
Tig/mig welder.
Band saw.
Mill.
Lathe.
Air compressor.
Oxy/Acy setup.
Plasma cutter.
Then a workshop for fiberglass.
Then a paint booth.
Then a painting setup.
Start smaller. Learn how to do bodywork. Fix a dented up car. Fix a fiberglass boat. Learn how to paint. Learn how to weld. Learn how to fabricate.
Cheap kits are made of fibreglass. It's cheap. You only need to make up a mould/buck.
By the way, said makers of those cars will sue you for copyright infringement if you make copies of their products.
Heu… At least a workshop…

Hi so start with a degree in automotive engineering.
- Cadillac(GM) is building an ATS-V. What about you, Lincoln (F)? Planning on building a rival? I recommend building a 365-hp, 3.5L Ford Taurus SHO V6-powered, all-wheel-drive MKZ SVT to take on Cadillac's new 420-hp, rear-drive ATS-V. The ATS-V would also be a V6, but it's gonna be a 3.6. If the MKZ sells better in terms of monthly sales than the ATS the MKZ SVT should be it! Expect a mid-four-second 0-60-mph time, $55,000+ price tag, and good fuel economy (18+ mpg in the city, 24+ on the highway).
- Could Ford manufacture a replica 1965 Mustang if I had the money for it? I ask because I'm not sure if there are laws that prohibit car makers to produce vehicles that don't meet modern safety standards.
- I have a Ford focus lx 1.6 petrol and it is a st replica can I put an st engine in? The full car is st exept under the hood, engine, air filter ect. I want an st obviously but don't want to pay the money for one just yet, could I put an st engine in 2l or 2.5l if not what other more powerful engine could I put in? If so how much would it cost and what else would I need to change? Such as brakes and stuff?
- Ford Fiesta ST replica kit? I have a 1.4l fiesta (what a bore) and since I'm 18 I can't afford to insure a real fiesta ST, where could I get a replica ST kit from for my 1.4? Or will normal ST parts bolt straight on? Don't say don't do it because your poor because money isn't the problem, I could afford a fiesta ST but refuse to pay 8k a year insurance
