My Ford Fiesta passed it's MOT last month but when I brake to almost a complete stop my car it makes like a whooshing sound?
Sounds like the brakes. It sounds worse in a morning when I start using the brakes. Is this normal?
Vacuum leak.
The power brakes run off of engine VACUUM, so probably OK.
If there had been a problem at the time it would have failed the mot… If the brakes work as well then it does not sound like the vacuum pipe. If it was leaking you would need a lot more force… Regardless don't ask here. Get it to a garage

- Car vibrates when I come to a complete stop? I drive a 2001 Ford Focus and my parents bought the car for me in March of this year and it ran smooth and everything until about a month ago, maybe two months. Now whenever I come to a complete stop, it vibrates. It doesn't do it at all when I'm driving, only when the car is completely stopped. Does anybody know what could be wrong with it? I really don't have money to take it to a mechanic right now and don't want to have my parents pay for me to take it to a mechanic.
