Is there anything wrong with my car?
I have a 2008 Ford Fiesta ST500. I d parked my car on a hill and put it in gear (as I always do in case the handbrake fails). As I returned to my car, I put my foot on the clutch, took the handbrake off so the car started rolling and I tried turning the key to start the engine but the steering lock was on but I d already lifted up my clutch. The car jolted as if it was trying to jump start then there was a loud bang and smoke appeared coming from under the bonnet. I tried starting the car again but the engine just ticked over and wouldn t start. I tried it again after a few minutes and applied the accelerator and the car started. Ever since the car has seemed to lack some power. I'm not sure if this is actually the case or that I'm just paranoid. Anyone got any ideas on what the bang was and where exactly the smoke came from?
I think the bang was the engine as it was trying to be push started with the key off. Pretty sure you didn't hurt anything.
- Typical lib thinking? Ford had no idea when it happened, had no idea how she got there, no idea how she left, clueless who was there? And despite that every person she listed as a witness made a statement in a sense said Ford was wrong… The lib brain… Get even at Trump…> yep - Kavanaugh did it.
- I have a 1997 ford ranger XLT and there's something wrong with my heater? When I turn the heat selector it doesn't do anything. Could there be something wrong with the vacuum. My truck is a 2.3 l 4 cylinder with 8 sparkplugs. How can I fix this? Also could something be preventing the trap doors from opening when I put it to a different selection
- NISSAN JUKE is a car out there Jay P, you are wrong. This person responded by saying there's no such vehicle? Anyways if anyone has a view please let me knowIm looking at a Juke, a Mazda 6 and a Ford Fusion to purchase, If anyone can give me a good reason to purchase onw over the others please let me know.
- Thinking about buying this car, but don't know anything about vehicles I was looking at this Ford Focus SES 2009 with about 123,000 miles. Priced around 7,999. Kbb says it's worth about 6,500 so there's some wiggle room in price. The Carfax shows that its battery has been replaced 2-3 times, and it's been sold at dealer auctions a few times as well. I was just wondering if the dealer auction is a bad thing? Or if that's an unreasonable amount of times the battery has gone bad? Thanks for your help in advance! Clueless about vehicles!
