How to install a trip computer on a Ford Fiesta?
I have a 2009 ford fiesta 1.6 econetic, and i was wondering as my car does not have the trip computer installed but some other models have, so would it be as simple as buying the trip feature button and installing it, it would work? On my screen or do i have to update the whole system for it?
Hi as this was a factory fitted option you would need a car with it fitted. As t is now some 8 years old well past the date when spare parts are available. You are also at the end of the cars designed life.
Easier yet, buy a pencil and a small tablet of paper, then write down the info. Save yourself several hundred $$.
- My 2000 Ford Taurus won't shift into fourth gear is it ok on a 700 mile round trip drive? I have a 2000 ford Taurus and it doesn't shift into fourth gear anymore. Its been that way for 2 years. It runs fine just doesn't shift into fourth gear and the transmission light does come on after a while of driving it. I was wondering if it would be ok to take it on a 700 mile round trip drive? I know its not good for it I just need to know if I'm going to be stranded on the highway somewhere because my trans went out.
