Can a bama Performance tuner work on a Fiesta?
I have a Bama performance tuner for my mustang from American Muscle. I also have a Ford Fiesta, and I the other day I was thinking…"My tuner is just laying around, why not try it on the Fiesta?" However, I don't want to wreck the ECU, and spend $500, probably more to get that replaced. So can I use it on my fiesta?
No, the program was written specifically for your mustang and will not work on another vehicle.
No you can't. The tuner is "locked" on your specific Mustang, or more specifically the ECU in your mustang. It can't be used to modify the parameters on any other car unless you use the tuner to restore the stock tune to the Mustang. If you do that, then it unlocks again and you can use it on another Mustang, It won't work on a Fiesta though as the ECUs are quite different. You can used the tuner as an OBD II scanner on several didn't models of cars even if the tuner is locked onto another car's ECU.

- Will high performance spark plugs have any benefit in a non performance car? To start I have a 2002 Ford Focus ZTS with 150000 miles on it. It needs new spark-plugs, and the only two types the store has that fit my car are Autolite Platinum and Bosch Platinum IR Fusion. My question is for my car, is there any advantage to spending the extra 14$ to get the higher end spark plugs or would it just be a waste of cash?

- Would you consider the ford focus a muscle car or an import/tuner? My friend and I were arguing about this for a while. He says its a FORD so it has to be a muscle car. I said it has no characteristics of a muscle car.
