2006 Ford Fiesta ST vs 2005 Renault Megane 225?
I currently drive a 2002 Fiat Punto Sporting and I want to change my car to something more exciting. I do alot of driving as part of my job and i could do with something which isn't really bad on fuel and is still quite fast and fun to drive. I have managed to narrow it down to these two cars, and i could do with some help with picking between them.
The driver of this car also wanted a car that was "fast and fun to drive." He is now dead.
I've heard good thing about the fiesta, my mom has a focus which is almost the same and the gas is great on those. Keep reading reviews and take a test drive before you buy it though.
- Will 17 rims with (225, 60r17) fit my 2000 Mercury Sable/Ford Taurus? I obtained a full set of factory rims from a different vehicle, and they DO have the same bolt pattern as my Sable. I'm currently riding on 215 60r16, but want to upgrade to these, if possible. Any ideas, folks?
- Can 225/70R16 tires fit on rims that have 225/70r14 tires on them? I have 225/70r14 tires on my Ford ranger. I just got some 225/70r16 tires of the same brand, Cooper, given to me. Will they fit on the 225/70r14 rims or do I need to get rims to fit the 225/70r16.
- Will a set of 235/60-R17 tires fit a vehicle with 225/50-R17 tires currently? If they do I'm assuming there would be a MPH difference on the speedometer. Update: The 60 series set is from a 2014 Ford Focus and are stud-less winter tires. They are to go on a 2012 Ford Fusion.
- Will 225/65/r17 fit a car with 225/50r17 tires? I have a set of the 65s that are tread-less winter tires that cost a grand from a previous Ford Focus. I want to use them on my Ford Fusion since they cost so much. Will they still fit since they are both 17"?
