Why is my truck misfiring on cylinder 1 with the code P0301?
It's a 2003 ford f150 super crew the mechanic told me that the ignition coil and I need to replace 1,2and 8 but I swapped coil 1 with 2 to see if it would misfire on cylinder 2 but it didn't it came back the same results misfire cylinder 1 code P0301 I don't understand I have installed a new head gasket and changed all the spark plugs install new idling sensor but nothing changed yet I don't know if I should go with the mechanic advice or not because I have spent so much money already.
How come the mechanic says 1, 2 and 8 and you say 1? Maybe it is time for a compression test.

No such thing as an idling sensor and the spark plugs on this engine are very difficult to change, did they get damaged? Who did them? Who did the head gaskets? Where are they in all of this?

- How to remove ignition switch Cylinder from 98 ford crown victoria if the ignition cylinder is stuck? I have a 98 crown Victoria. And i used a wrong key by mistake yesterday and now my actual key won't work. I've tried removing the ignition lock cylinder but any video i watch on Youtube tells me to turn the key to replace ignition lock cylinder but i can't do that because its jammed. I've tried jiggling the steering wheel and turning the key but no luck. Pretty sure its the ignition lock cylinder but i can't get the damn thing out without turning the key
