What fuel pump do I need, 76 ford 410?

I have a 1976 ford f150 and it has a 390 and I've upgraded to 410 valve train and what not. So I've got a 410 on my hands. Edelbrock performer 390 intake. Rated for 600 to 800 cfm. It's got a 600 on it. I haven't taken the pump out yet, but I will. It appears to be a factory pump. The engine hasn't been run much the last 11 years. But before it sat the engine was rebuilt. I drove it the other day and it seemed sluggish. That could be the 6 month old gas, or the carb from sitting. But I'm looking to put a 800 cfm on there and I want to make sure it has enough fuel. What would be a good pump for me to run?

The carb could be suffering from a hardened power valve and hardened diaphragm in the accelerator pump. Certainly couldn't hurt to freshen the carb. If it were me, I'd shy away from the 800 (which is I believe a double-pumper). A 750 will have a slightly smaller venturi bore and therefore a better booster signal (think throttle response), unless you're doing something exotic like billet annular boosters or something that esoteric for a P/U. Save the 800 double-pumper for a manual-transmission drag car…
If you're making 420 HP, a 35 gal/hr pump should suffice. Based on a fuel consumption (BSFC) rate of.5 lb of fuel per HP per hour. 35 gal/hr X 6 lbs/gal= 210 lbs of fuel per hour… X.5 BSFC rate
A Carter M 60092 is almost perfect for the application @ 35 GPH. The operating pressure isn't listed so it would be wise to ask if a pressure regulator is need to keep from having too much fuel pressure at the needle and seat assemblies.
