Truck Problems. Ford F-150 1993 My baby?

I have a 1993 Ford F-150. I bought it a few months back runs great. It has two fuel tanks and because I was gonna take a long distance trip to see my brother I finally decided to use the second tank. I didn't Even think about cleaning this out before. So after the trip the Truck started sputtering and skipping a beat (for lack of better wording). Now it will not turn over. It wants to but stops right before the engine starts. I'm young and trying to learn about my vehicle. I believe it is the fuel line or something along those lines clogged. Is this an easy fix I can do myself? If so can someone direct me. Also how much would it cost to have this problem fixed in a shop?Truck Problems. Ford F-150 1993 My baby

If your lucky, maybe the fuel filter caught whatever was in the second tank.It could be trash or water in the tank that clogged the fuel filter or the injectors could have trash in them if it made it past the filter. I would switch back to the other tank, change the fuel filter and see if that clears it up. If you wanna mess with cleaning the tank out, just relieve the fuel pressure at the shrader valve on or near the fuel rail on the intake, remove the hoses from the tank or fuel filter, remove the screws holding the fuel filler neck to the body under the gas cap, remove gas cap, remove any wiring harness, place a jack under the tank, remove the bolts from the tank straps, then lower the tank. When you remove the fuel pump from the tank make sure to only use a piece of wood or brass to loosen the locking ring.Anything else will cause sparks which can cause a fire. Be careful. The more gas is in the tank the heavier its gonna be.7.8lbs per gallon
