Recommendations for a good all around audio unit?

I have a lifted 2001 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Lariat. I'm wanting to install a head unit that does everything. Radio (do not care about Sirius), CD, MP3, Bluetooth, AUX capable, backup camera, GPS, etc. As far as speakers go, i'm not too concerned. I don't care about shaking houses with my loud music. I just want something crisp with decent bass (35" tires make hearing things in the cab difficult). What is the best bang for my buck when it comes to a decent head unit and speaker setup?

Sonicelectronix is usually where I start. They have a conveniently sortable website.
If you go to "car stereos" and select "all car stereos" then narrow it down by GPS that will pretty much get you all the features you're looking for.
I would personally avoid brands like Boss, Soundstream and Power Acoustik. They will work, but they have a tendency to be delicate, and not last long at all.
The first option I come to (sorted from low price to high) is the Clarions for $450. Pioneer, Kenwood, JVC are $600+.

As for speakers -- unless you're a super sound quality nerd most any of the respectable brands' offerings that fit your truck are going to sound ok.
The issue is your HU is only going to give you around 20w rms to power each speaker. Generally, they'll work ok at low-mid volume but if you really want good sound you'll need to plan for a decent external amplifier. Even a small ~50x4 amp will make a significant improvement. There are decent quality options for $80-100. 8 awg amp wiring kits are ~$20-30.
