Real American car companies?

If I was in the market for a new pickup truck, what would be the best option as far as most american made? My initial thoughts were obviously Ford, Chevy, Gmc, and dodge. But aren't gmc and chevy trucks made in Mexico or Canada? Where are f150's manufactured? Is it true that Toyota trucks are manufactured in America? The more American made the truck is, the better

The Dodge Ram 1500 (except for the regular cab truck) are made here in Warren, Michigan at our Warren Truck plant.

The Ford will be better in the long-run! I've been a mechanic for over 50 years!

Chevy/GMC are rolling out a new mid size pick up to compete with the Tacoma and Frontier. They are expected to be available in fall as Canyon and Colorado's. I read they are assembled in the US but as with all vehicles some major components are made in either Canada or Mexico.

All parts for all cars and trucks come from different country's
and are built all over the world.

Pretty sure Dodge trucks are Mexican. Every vehicle has a plate on it that tells where it was assembled, usually on the drivers door or door frame. Of course, that does not tell you where the components were made.

Toyota trucks that are sold in the USA are mostly assembled in the USA, from some imported parts.

The msrp stickers on cars are very informative, but I don't believe trucks necessarily have that information. On cars it tells where it was assembled, the percentage of domestic content and where major components were built. I have not seen that on trucks.
