In my opinion that's a very bad idea.
If it is running, the transmission is not shot, and the body is not full of rust, then sure. It would be worth about $700 to $900, tops.
Only if you are paying more than $1000 for it and you can be sure it won;t break down before you get home
A vehicle that's almost 20 years old that's gone almost 200,000 miles? Close to being the definition of dumb.
If you know aboyt older cara than no but if you don't. Don't bother
Depends on the price. 195,000 isn't extremely high for them. I've seen them with 300,000 still running.
Do you know how many owners it's had? Do you know if it's been well taken care of? What kind of engine is in it? If the engine is ok, is the rest of the truck ok? A Ford F-150 can last a long time if it's been treated right but sometimes it's very difficult to ascertain if that's the case with a second hand vehicle. If you can't get any clear answers, don't buy the truck.
I would not buy it. Everything in it is very worn and old, close to the status of junk- people don't baby a truck.
- Typical lib thinking? Ford had no idea when it happened, had no idea how she got there, no idea how she left, clueless who was there? And despite that every person she listed as a witness made a statement in a sense said Ford was wrong… The lib brain… Get even at Trump…> yep - Kavanaugh did it.
- Would this be a bad Idea for my car? I have a Toyota Camry 2007 that is worth around $6,000 possibly. With that money I have enough to buy a used 2005 Ford Mustang GT for around the same price. Bad or good idea?
- Is it safe to buy a ford with 150,000 miles? I'm in the market for my first car and I found a 2012 Ford Focus with 150,000 miles for $5000. The owner says they've never had any problems with it. Is it a good idea to buy a ford with 150,000 miles? Am I going to have to spend a lot on repairs? How much longer is it going to last?
- Is purchasing a Ford Escape with 198,000 miles on it a bad idea? I'm looking at a 2005 Ford Escape limited with 198,880 miles on it. As I can see by the pictures I have viewed, it looks to me like this car has been very we'll maintained. By this I mean the body of the car is rust free, the leather interior is in very good shape, and all together the car looks fine to me. I'm seriously considering this vehicle and I'm just not sure if the mileage of this car is something I should worry about. The car is priced at $5,000.
