I have oil coming into my air filter in my 1990 F1-50 ford truck?
I need someone give me lot of ideas what this might can be, I have a 1990 F 150 ford truck and its a 5.8 and I don't know why my oil coming from the top to the air filter making me lose lot of oil.
Hi because the oil breather pipe from the engines sump has lost it's valve.
Short of you putting oil in the air filter the only way it can get there's through the PVC system. If it is then your engine has a serious blow by problem and will not live much longer.
The crankcase breather is the reason. The problem is why is the breather doing this. Old engine blow by at the rings. Crankcase pressurisation. Engine near to worn out. Do a compression test.

- 2012 Ford Fiesta has no air pressure, brand new air filter? Not sure what's going on with the wife's car. Hot as hell outside but her ac blows like it's on the lowest setting when it's on full blast. I changed her air filter but it didn't help at all. Do these have a cabin air filter? I tried finding out online but can't locate it from the passengers side where they say it is.
- Car leaking oil, not sure if its from oil filter or transmission? So I have a 1998 Ford windstar that broke down because the transmission just basically gave up on it. Anyway, before it broke down we gave it an oil change and it wasn't leaking any oil. After the transmission gave up, a couple months afterwards, it starts to leak oil. Could this be from the transmission or the oil filter? By the way, I know absolutely nothing about cars.
