Added (1). can a chevy 1500 or ford f-150 do this
Will probably need some helper springs or air type booster.
- Pickup traction: what should I put in the bed for winter? 1992 Ford Ranger. I live in an apartment so firewood is out. Something which will not be stolen. Bags of road salt in waterproof bins? Southern Ohio and winter may be nasty; need weight behind rear axle. Looking for ideas taking up only width of bed but less than 2' front to back since I want to use most of the bed for day to day stuff. Rocks? Quarries around here but want something multi-purpose.
- Aren't you amazed by the capabilities and the size of today's full-size pickup trucks? I drive a 2011 Ford Ranger XLT 4x2 with a 4.0 liter V6 (~245 ci.) engine. I was looking up the specs for early-mid 1960s F100s (considered full-size), and they have nearly the same GVWR, towing capacity, payload, horsepower, wheelbase, and height as my "compact" truck. In your opinion, do you think today's full-size trucks are amazing or too fancy/over-sized (a traditionalist like me)? P.S.: I like all American vehicles
- How tight is 6 foot pounds? I'm putting the valve cover back on my 2002 Ford Focus. I looked it up and the bolts have to be torqued to 6 foot pounds. The problem is my torque wrench starts at 15 torque pounds, and I can't go get one that works that low because I can't drive my car. So as far as hand tightening the bolts, how can I gauge when it's about six foot pounds. Aka how tight to I make them?
- Can I carry a trailer and dirt bike with my Ford Focus? I wanna get a dirt bike but I obviously need a trailer to haul it around. So my question is can my 2010 Ford focus sedan handle carrying a small trailer with a dirt bike on it? I have no other option
