Can my 2004 Ford F150 5.4 beat a 92 chevy truck with a 400 small block in it?
He says it has something called fitech Fri and he built it out of a dart block or whatever but I i don't think they out the 6.6 in the 90s can my stock engine smoke him in a drag race and a tug of war his is a k2500

Can't recommend acid test at the racetrack - the Ford® V8-5.4 is hamstrung by a design flaw in the cylinder head that makes all eight 14mm spark plugs susceptable to blowout - I know firsthand from a 1999 E-250 that needed screw-in inserts twice (each larger than the previous) in Cylinder 4. The V8-6.2 Triton 24V flat-crank uses a much more blowout-resistant design with extended-nose plugs. The closest General Motors V8's to the V8-6.2, the Chevrolet Turbo-Fire 400 and the Vortec 6000, use 18mm plugs, which are inherently stronger than the 14mm's in both Ford engines.

- Am i the only one that thinks a 2003 4.0 ford ranger can beat a 1999 5.2 dodge dakota? I mean the ranger weighs alot less and has a 5 speed transmission when i think the dakotas have 4 speed so thats another advantage for ranger… Any one have experience and has actually raced these please fill me in with answers
