Body shop installation price of aftermarket headlights?
I have a 2007 Ford F-150 and I just bought spyder headlights for and i need them installed. How much should this cost because one body shop told me 120 to install them and I think that s a little much
Doesn't matter what you think. It only matters what they charge. Nobody can tell you a price because no one knows where you live or what the labor rates are in your area.
Yeah $60 per light seems really high. Most headlight assemblies are held in by 4 10mm screws or bolts. If I were you I'd go to Youtube and search 07 F150 headlight replacement. I did it for you, it's really easy
It is RIDICULOUSLY high. However, it is probably LOW for having any shop do the work. Spend $30 for a Haynes or Chilton repair manual for the car, and learn how to install the headlights yourself. If driving isn't beyond your ability, installing the headlights shouldn't be either.
Well, call another shop & see what they charge.
How about installing it yourself? The installation seems to be pretty easy. Just find the installation guide on mfg's website or at carid. 
Shop figures anyone dumb enuff to put "spyder headlights" on an 8 year old pick-up truck deserves to be fleeced.
