2004 new body style Ford F-150 throwing nock sensor code?
My 2005 Ford F-150 is throwing a code for a knock sensor however I'm thinking it is the transmission. Whenever I drive it it seems fine most of the time but if I flour it it will seem like it's misfiring. This is only when driving. It just now I had it in park and floured it and it did not misfire but 5 minutes ago when driving it it did when I floured it in between transmission shifts. The codes are P0325 and p0430. Anyone with a 5.4l 3v ford go through this also? Could it be my trans? Truck has a rebuilt motor which has been running fine but trans has almost 300k miles.
Check cat efficiency with a scanner and check the knock sensor circuit. Your truck's ECU is telling you what is wrong. Do not second guess it.
If the motor is misfiring it's going to throw a misfire code. It's probably not a transmission problem… It's happening under load. You need a $2000 mechanic's scan tool that can read engine data to determine if all the sensors are working with in spec.
What's the fuel pressure?
Check for vacuum leaks yet?

- What body style is this pickup truck? So I found this truck today, it's a RadioShack aftershock from the 90 s. Anyway, I'm trying to figure out what the body style is supposed to be based off of… I believe it's a late 90 s Ford stepside, but also maybe an s10. Anyone have any input?
- My 2001 Ford Ranger is running rich! CEL is on and it's throwing 2 codes: P1132 & P1152? Coil pack, spark plugs wires are less then 6 months old. New O2 sensors, TPS, MAF, IAC, new fuel injectors and fuel pressure regulator! Idle rpm is about 1500 when engine is warm and surges when truck is in drive and drops extremely low in reverse. Black smoke has covered exhaust tips and the rich smell is very strong from exhaust while truck is running. Truck has 180,000 miles and is a V6.
- Ford Fusion security code/Body Security Module? I purchased a used 2013 Ford Fusion Se which unfortunately did not come with the card and I live far from a ford dealer. Is there a way I can find out the master security code to the securilock on my doors, I have heard it is on the Body Security Module but I can't locate that either does anyone know where this is?
- My throttle body from my 1993 Ford F-150 5.8L is leaking fuel. What can I do to repair it myself? My truck will not start, there are ignition sounds but it with will not ignite. I've replace the distributor cap and rotor and the fuel line hoses from the fuel vapor canister to the throttle body. Do you think it could be a bad gasket?
