2003 Ford F150 Spongy brakes?

Been having spongy brakes in my f150. When I say that, the pedal slowly goes to the floor at stops, have to pump brakes to get back pressure coming to stops. I've changed the master cylinder, brake booster, and bled it multiple times. Seems like they get better after bleeding, but slowly come back to being bad. Any ideas?

Re-bleed air in the line makes the pedal spongy it could be your rear brake shoes need adjustment and are allowing air to enter the system

  • Why is my 2003 ford f150 make a.squeaking noise when i turn on the ac? I have a 2003 ford f150 v6 4.2 and when I start it up the serpentine belt squeals, only for about 2 seconds then it stops. The only other time it makes that noise is when I turn on the a/c. I was told it could be the tensioner, but I don't want to just buy the part without getting other opinions.
  • Rear differential leaking, but not from seal on 2003 ford f150 aluminum driveshaft? I noticed this yesterday, it's barely leaking, however, it's not leaking from the bottom of the seal, it is leaking from where the back face of the u joint(the face that faces the rear diff) and the pinion and it looks like it's coming from a small hole, I don't know why it is leaking fluid, if anyone has any information, that would be nice, thanks
  • No brakes on 2003 Ford F150? Replaced the master cylinder due to lack of pedal pressure, after that I have no brakes at all. I bench bled the master cylinder, and bled the brakes numerous times, still nothing.
  • Is a rear wheel bearing replacment the same as the front on 2003 ford f150 xl? I'm trying to understand the concept of rear wheel bearings on my ford f150. Somehow I have confused myself and i'm not sure if a bearing install is the same in the rear as it is in the front for DIY purposes. Can anyone help elaborate on that?
