You do not mention vehicle make, model, or year, but i'll bet that the fault code needs to be purged from your ECM. That is, the code has to be cleared. I'm assuming your car is newer than a 1996, so this is a real easy procedure for anyone with an OBD II reader.

Yo can either reset the light with a code reader, or disconnect the negative battery terminal for awhile (barring radio code loss) or drive it for a few cycles, ignoring the light. It should shut off by itself.

Run it as normal for a few driving cycles. Light should go out itself as long as the fault was fixed. If the light stays on a few days, get it checked out.

Minor hc leak. Tighten the cap until it clicks 3 times.

Chances are the light will go out after you have stated the car 5 times r so. Unless you are not tightening it enough or there's another fault.
