Which car should I lease? The Lexus GX 460 or the new Ford Explorer Sport Edition?
I'm planning on leasing a new car next month and I'm down to two choices: The Ford Explorer Sport Edition and the Lexus GX 460. They both have 7 seats, which is what I need. I live in NYC for those wondering where and how I drive the car. I can afford both gas MPGs. I'm assuming reliability doesn't matter since I'm leasing? So please let me know the safety, performance, the looks, whatever opinions you guys have. If you guys who have experience with either car can provide me some pros and cons, that would be awesome. I can't afford anything above $700 per month so please do not give me an answer saying I should get a Range Rover Sport or some supercharged whatever lol.
Unless you are a business owner and can write off the lease payments you would be a fool to lease.
Yeah, I would not lease a car either
Lease or not, you must have insurance on either vehicle and it will be high, esp if you do not have off-street parking in a tower or garage. Check the lease contract closely to see if you have to pay to repair NY dings and damages that will occur. Have you ever seen the brush guards and body protection panels people use in NYC? They are there for a reason! Lessee beware!
- Can i get out of a ford lease early? Or get a new car early? After my 2004 GTO broke down, i was forced to lease a 2014 Focus, for 3 years and had to get extended miles. Its been about 5 months since i've had the car and so far i hate it. Slow, cheaply made, stereo is terrible, no traction in winter, i don't like it at all. Is there any chance of getting out of the lease early or turning it in without hurting my credit, or even turning it in to lease a different car. Possibly a truck or taurus. Has anyone else been in this situation?
- I just bough a Ford Windstar sport edition 2006. What is the book value of the van? Better yet how much taxes will I have to pay to transfer it into my name? Darn MTO… All about money… Fml
- Sell current lease car to buy a new car? Good idea? So I live in CT and I wanted to know if this could be possible. I was told that if I wanted to I could sell my leased 2016 Ford Fusion energi to a spot like CarMax a couple of months before the lease was done and if they would offer a higher price then the remaining amount owed on my lease I could do that and pay off the lease and then keep the extra money as a down payment towards the purchase of another car?
- Is 215,000 miles too much? Opinions on the Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition are appreciated as well? I'm looking at buying a 2002 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition and it's in good shape. I haven't test drove it yet. The only down side is the mileage. If it runs good is it ok to buy? And does anyone know anything about the car?
