What size subs/bass and what kind for a Ford Explorer 1997?
I want it to bump decently, but I'm also on a budget being 16
The year of the vehicle is pronounced first. Then, the make and model. Since you're only 16, that's okay and most teenagers are on a tight budget.
Go with 1 12" sub. It will be loud enough to satisfy the average listener that's not a total bass head.
Get one of the Soundqubed HDS212. I believe it's only around $100.
- Aren't you amazed by the capabilities and the size of today's full-size pickup trucks? I drive a 2011 Ford Ranger XLT 4x2 with a 4.0 liter V6 (~245 ci.) engine. I was looking up the specs for early-mid 1960s F100s (considered full-size), and they have nearly the same GVWR, towing capacity, payload, horsepower, wheelbase, and height as my "compact" truck. In your opinion, do you think today's full-size trucks are amazing or too fancy/over-sized (a traditionalist like me)? P.S.: I like all American vehicles
- 1997 ford tbird and 1997 ford mustang parts? Can I use parts from a 97 4.6 mustang on my 97 4.6 third and can I use any suspension parts from a mustang
- How to get more bass out of my car stereo? I drive 2 company cars at my work (Ford FG Ute & Hyundai i Load) & both vehicles would have the best.sound systems found standard in any other car I've driven. Unfortunately I have drive home in my car. I I.installed a Sony 50w x 4 CD that fails to satisfy my appetite for rich, clear deep bass. Do these company vehicles have amps as well? I think not.
- What's the best bass i can get for my car? I have a 2014 ford fiesta (sedan) with stock speakers and 2 12" MTX Terminator subwoofers powered by boss R1100m amplifier but i wanna get as much bass as my car can handle with my budget. $1500 limit
