Just drove my car now it won't start?

I had this problem about a month ago. I pulled into a bakery, came out and my car wouldn't start. It would not crank or start just click. I had it towed to my house. I replaced the ignition switch cleaned the cables that attach to the battery, had the battery and starter checked and they all worked. I put everything back together and it suddenly started working again. Today I drove it to get inspected and it wouldn't start or crank just a click noise. I drive a 2007 ford explorer with 150,000 miles. Any ideas?

Sounds like the starter motor is worn out… That clicking noise you hear is the starter solenoid trying to engage. You can get a starter motor rebuild kit to save some money, Or if you want to take the safe route, just replace the starter.
