Is a Ford Explorer a good truck?
I'm about to buy a truck in February of 2015 before it starts to snow. It's a 2002 Ford Explorer v6 4x4. I want to know can it handle on snow at high speeds and it's safty. Any advice. I live in Maryland if that helps
Best advice: forget trying to drive on snow at high speed. 4x4 does nothing for that. You still have to stop on the same basic rubber everyone else does. Explorer is a good truck otherwise, yep
It's not a truck, it's an SUV. It's a gas hog.
Its not a truck and if you try speeding through snow you're going to need another car after you crash
It's a good truck. It only depends on how many miles are on it and how well it was maintained.
- What is a good ford truck to drive? Ok, so I need a good ford truck. I'm gonna be driving to school with it, and sometimes go off road with it. I'm gonna get it raised at least 2 feet off the ground, and put a lot of upgrades on it as well. It needs to look nice, sound good, and be good on the road and off road. It also needs to be fast.
- Is a Ford Raptor a good truck? I'm looking to buy a new truck. All my other vehicals have been ford and i love them. I really like the look of the raptor so what are yalls opinions on how reliable it is
- Old Ford Truck Good First Car? I'm 14 and in the market for a barn find condition car to fix up and drive in high school. I'd like an old truck but they suck gas down and are heavy. I found a 1978 Ford F150 with an 8ft bed, 4 wheel drive, 400m motor automatic, no AC. Has stuck value no ac, tires have 1/2 tread, comes with a 351m motor too. Runs but smokes. 33 inch tires with 1/2 tread, new gas tank. Clean title. What do you think? It's only 600 bucks. How much is the average mpg?
- Is a 1995 ford f-150 a good truck? I want one with straight 6. 4wd is a must because we get a lot of sn meant to say snow. Sorry about that
