Is a 1995 ford f-150 a good truck?
I want one with straight 6. 4wd is a must because we get a lot of sn
Added (1). meant to say snow. Sorry about that
All ford trucks are good trucks.
I wouldn't buy a full size truck unless it has a V8 in it.302. The only issues I've seen come up with 87-95 Ford trucks are rear main seal, lower intake gasket, tfi ignition module, pip sensor inside distributer, clutch, and worn clutch packs in traction lock unit(differential)If you do buy one of these trucks and need to replace any sensors on it for any reason, make sure you buy Ford Motorcraft parts and not junk from Autozone.Fords and Autozone sensors just aren't compatible for some reason.RockAuto.com sells Motorcraft parts at reasonable prices compared to the dealer.Another great thing about Fords from the 87-95 year models::aftermarket performance parts are endless and priced right. The 8.8 rearend is a good strong unit too when compared to Chevy/Dodge trucks of the same era. If you really want a fun truck to drive, get a 93 Ford Lightning with the supercharged 351. There are better blowers made for that truck(Kenne Bell Twin Screw)but that could be added later. My 93 F150 has 298,000 miles
- Is a 1995 Ford F150 a good first car? I'm 16 and a friend has a 1995 Ford F150 XLT for sale. It's an extended cab with the 5.0L V8 and 4X4. The body is a little rusty and the current owner said that the frame may be bent. The truck also has 2 fuel tanks. Should I buy it or look for a different one.
- Does the 1995-2001 Ford Explorer continue to roll over even with good tires? This is something I get confused on. I'm looking for a Ford Explorer that does not have a large rate of rolling over. I want a Ford Explorer from the model years of 1995 to 2001 because I like the way it looks. Even so most explorers these days are not equipped with Firestone tires but even so are the Ford Explorers from 1995 to 2001 currently rollover even with good tires (ex. Goodyear)
- I'm going to use my 97 Ford F-150 lariat 5.4l truck as a main tow truck? Can I add a second transmission cooler I tow every now and then with a 18ft car trailer how can I keep the tranny cool this summer intill I get a f250
- Ford 350 1995 propane for work truck? I've been looking at work trucks for my junk removal business and I got my eyes set of a 1995 ford 350 flat deck. It has stake holes for awesome wood siding and runs on propane which only costs 70 cents a litre. It has two propane tanks and 2 gas tanks I can switch between with switches on the dashboard. It was manual and was converted to automatic professionally but has 385000 km. Its also a v8 and the dashboard inside is all scratched up. Would you pay $2500 Canadian for it?
