I turned 16 and I need a car under $15,000 that I can work on myself?
My dad and I have been looking for a "project car" also everyday car that i can customize and put an exhaust and air filter.etc. I have so far looked at a 2003 toyota sequoia and a ford explorer sport trec. I'm still looking for a car with "okay" MPG and also reliable and safe.
any suggestions help

I think for $15k you can find a nice enough car that won't NEED any repairs for a while.
Subarus are great. Lots of stuff you can do with them and they are reliable and safe. You can get a 2008-09 Subaru Impreza WRX with about 70,000 miles for about $12,000-15,000.

- 2001 Ford Ranger clicks once then won't turn over, and when key is turned off, it begins making a clicking relay noise under the dash? - 1 I've had this happen before, and the last couple times I just undid the battery and put it back in and it started right up. The battery has a charge, the alternator is new, and I tried jumping the battery just in case. So I know it's not that. I'm thinking it could be something in the ignition switch because sometimes I have to lift up on the shifter knob for it to register that it's in park and turn over. Any ideas?

- In my car the one of the bottom radiator hoses has a huge split in it & leaking everywhere, how much and how hard is it to fix it myself? Or is it one of those complicated things where it needs to go to a repair shop? My car is a 2001 Ford Focus btw
