How to win a traffic ticket case for cutting through parking lot?
Yesterday, I cut through a Lowe's parking lot. As I start driving down the street I accessed from the parking lot, a black Ford Explorer police car pulls up behind me out of no where and pulls me over. Thinking that if I just be respectful and honest, I would just receive a warning. Nope. I got a ticket. I'm a broke college student and I really can't afford another ticket. I lost my debit card at that moment and I was panicked, so I drove to the stores I went to, to try and retrieve it. I found it (way too late…)
I plan on going to court for it since the officer insisted, but I've never done this before.
Since you admitted your guilt to the officer not likely.
Your only chance is did you actually break a law. If there's no law then you broke no, law.
Never hard of a law that you can't take take a short cut through a parking lot.
You committed a violation and a police officer saw you. Not much chance of winning.
- Listed as driving an ATV on my speeding ticket when I was driving a Truck? I live in Minnesota and received a speeding ticket yesterday. When I looked it over it said the vehicle was an ATV. I was driving a Ford Truck. Is this how they list all trucks on tickets or did the officer make a mistake. The citation was correct just not the type of vehicle.

- Speeding Ticket in Georgia with Incorrect Information? I received a speeding ticket last night in Dekalb County off Briarcliff rd a little after the Fox5 station. The officer said I was doing 55 in a 35. When I asked him to show me the laser it said I was doing 54. My biggest issue the car information is completely wrong. I drive an 08 Ford focus light blue with Missouri tags. The ticket says 04 Nissan Maxima SE Black with Georgia tags and the tag numbers don't even match mine. Do I have a chance of fighting this ticket?
- Will cutting off the muffler cut gas milage? I have an '83 Ford F150, i want to make it ear shatteringly loud, but not wanna mess with the mileage I have. It didn't come with a catalytic converter, and i was planning on cutting off right before the muffler and leaving it. Where i would cut it is about halfway down the truck where cab and box meet. Anyone foresee any problems?
