Driving 22 miles to High School?
I have got my license and I got a 97 ford explorer. I'll be a senior and with after school practice for cross country and wrestling. Including the occasional saturdays for races and tournaments should I drive to school. It will be great for homework and sleep. The only problem is yes you guessed it GAS What do yall think
22 miles is far dude. Especially if you want to get to school on time. If gas money isn't a concern, then leave an hour or so before school starts, just to escape traffic.
I used to drive 21 miles to school, each day, freshman through graduation. Riding the bus was not an option. If you can afford it, go for it.
- After driving Ford Ranger, high mileage, 10 miles and at normal operating temp, I park overnight on level concrete floor. I check oil level? Next day before starting and when I pull dipstick out, oil level is at full mark. I wipe the dipstick clean and re-insert and check oil level again, the oil level is down about 1/8th inch or so. I check it once more and get same reading. Is the crankcase full or do I need to add some oil? Just to be clear, since this is an older Ranger with over 170,000 miles, I use high mileage oil and I check the oil level regularly. It doesn't use oil after just 10 miles of driving.
- I'm in high school and about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car So far I have looked into ford mustangs, I have a choice between a 2007 ford mustang gt with a 8 cylinder motor with automatic transmission, or I can get a 2013 mustang v6. My question is which of the two cars is a faster and louder car cause I would like to show it off and have heads turn by its engine as I drive off on the street. Thank you very much about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car?
- Why did Christine Blasey Ford's best friend in high school Leland Keyser say she is lying? And why did Ford dismiss her by saying: "Leland has significant health challenges, and I'm happy that she is focusing on herself"" implying her friend was nuts.
- I own a 2015 Ford Escape with 30,000 miles and runs good. My prior vehicle had over 150,000 miles and I used Gumout Regane high mileage fuel? System cleaner. I still have a bottle of the Gumout and wondering if I used it in the Escape, would the Gumout do any harm to it? I suppose I could wait until I get 75,000 miles on it before using but I'm a 3000-4000 miles a year driver and the Gumout would go bad before using it.
