2003 Ford Explorer XLT is making a scrapping noise when slowing down & turning the wheel L/R in the front. Any idea of what this could be?
Already replaced front rotors and brakes.
No
Check the wheel bearings.
Brakes or bad wheel bearings
- Typical lib thinking? Ford had no idea when it happened, had no idea how she got there, no idea how she left, clueless who was there? And despite that every person she listed as a witness made a statement in a sense said Ford was wrong… The lib brain… Get even at Trump…> yep - Kavanaugh did it.
- My car is making noise when I turn the wheel, what could be causing it? I put power steering fluid in and double checked it to make sure it was full, which it is. But whenever I turn the wheel it still makes a terrible noise, i almost want to not drive it anymore just because of that noise. Anyone have an idea what it could be? Is it the power steering pump maybe? If it helps, my car is a 2001 Ford Mustang, FWD. The noise is coming from the front of the car.
- Any idea what this could be on my 2001 Ford Focus SE? White idling at a light there's a "shudder" of sorts and the car feels like it is going to stall… I recently had a new fuel pump put on but that has not fixed this.
- Will an all wheel drive wheel bearing fit a rear wheel drive wheel bearing? The front passenger wheel bearing is bent on my 96 ford explorer but someone with a 97 ford explorer sold me one will it still fit an work? Ours is a rear wheel drive the other car is an all wheel drive please give info I don't know much about cars
