2004 Ford Expedition electrical problem, any advice?
While driving yesterday, the AC shut off and the service engine soon light came on.
The car drives good but now all sorts of weird electrical things like power locks won't work the key fob won't work.
It's a drag, good car, but I need the AC back!
Ford puts one 'big' fuse in line with all the dashboard circuits, like the A/C, power windows and door locks. It's in the 'power distribution' box under the hood.
The A/C and alternator belt came off, have it replaced as soon as possible.
All those things will happen when you have a bad engine to chassis ground.
- I want advice if I should buy this Ford Ranger-Any opinion is great? I got my license a few months ago and am about to get a car, I really like this 97 Ford Ranger XLT crew cab 4.0 4x4 v6 and wondering if it is worth $3100 seeing as it has 187000 miles on it. I think its worth it cause I like working on cars but my parents are skeptical and I would really like some advice on convincing them with some good arguments of you think the truck is good.
- Car won't crank with a new battery and alternator it has no electrical power what could the problem be? I have a 1998 Ford Ranger XLT that has been running for months when I tried starting it earlier today it would click once then nothing. Now it has no electrical power at all.
- 95 Ford Ranger Electrical Problem Every so often, sometimes months apart, only when driving the complete electrical system shuts off for a fraction of a second then it turn back on. We have checked everything we know of. Any ideas of what may be causing this?
- I have a 2008 Ford Focus that won't start. It clicks when I turn the ignition but work crank. Got any advice? Also the radio will flicker on and off if I try to turn it on. Car ran fine 2 days ago. Also just put in a new battery.
