2000 ford expedition soft breaks, Needs to be bled. Price?
The breaks on the truck i'm getting listed above are soft they work but the pedal goes all the way down and i was told they need to be bleeded how much would this be to get done?
Its below 10 degrees out and i can't do it now since i have no garage or place to do it in.
I hope that you are getting this cheap because this could easily be a bad master cylinder. The rear drum BRAKES may not be self adjusting. You are buying a car that barely stops WHY?
NEVER by a vehicle with known problems without a COMPLETE inspection by an independent 3rd party. IF the brake pedal travels all the way to the floor, it is LIKELY that the problem is more than the lines needing bleed. In fact, IF that is even part of the problem, whoever serviced the brakes last did something wrong.
I'll bet you have frozen caliper slides and need a complete brake job. Go to a different place than the bozo that said they just need bleeding! You'd have a leak if you got air in the lines.
You have a leak.Air doesn't get in there magically.I'm assuming you live up north with a 16 year old car.Brake lines are probably rusted out.Time for a new car.
- What are the chances that Christine Ford's car breaks down while driving from California to Washington DC and it delays the hearing? Another day or two so Kavanaugh can't be confirmed and join the court on October 1 the beginning of the next Supreme Court session?
- Do I have to add the finance price to the listing price? So I'm currently looking online for a car. I saw that there's a 2012 Ford Focus available and the list price is $13,409. However, under the list price it says the finance price is $6,998. I'm not sure if that means that that will be the price of the vehicle if I finance? Or do I have to add the listing price and the finance price together and that would be an estimate of the amount I would pay when I'm done financing the vehicle?
- Around how much does it cost to turn rear drum breaks to disc breaks? I've got a 2014 Ford Focus and would like to change the stock rear drum breaks to disk breaks I know it's possible just wondering how much would it cost and is it worth it?
