Car stereo cassette tape problem?
I have a 98 ford escort i just got as my first car and originally there was a tape stuck in the radio that i just shimmy out if it. When i put a new tape adapter in, the tape mode on the stereo say, no tape. Is it saying that because its not connected to my phone yet or is it another issue? Until i get a new music system, this is all i have. Just the original radio of the car. Also when i push EJ the tape don't eject either. Do you think it maybe something on the inside like a groove or something? If i can know the insides of a tape player and how it works and play the tape, that would help a bunch
The cassette carriage mechanism is simply worm out and does not properly function. Try to refrain for use or you may damage you cassettes.
The player motor is broken. Wait for your new stereo.
- What cassette adapter would work with a 97 ford taurus? I currently have an Insignia 3.5 mm cassette adapter, but when I put it in my car's stereo it tries to read it but then pops out? What I want to know is if this is the cassette adapter or my car only responding to a certain adapter.
- Car acceleration problem and idle problem. The car is a 2003 Ford Taurus? . When the car is running and in parked its making a loud consisted rev noise. However the rpm needle thingy is not moving. when i'm in drive the car acclerates on its own with the speed ever increasing. i did some googling and learned that it can be the TPS sensor or the idle air intake valve, among a million other possiblities.

- When changing the power steering pump on a KA (54) can you use PTFE tape to seal the pressure line from pump? I have changed the power steering pump on a ford KA (54) and when removing the pressure line from the pump there was some kind of seal on it but I don't know what it was, so I was hopping that PTFE tape would do the same job at sealing the thread. Any help please. Andy.
