2002 ford escort passenger front brake make's clicking noise at the last part of the braking to complete stop?

Take both front tires off and look at the brake calipers to see if there's any loose clip(s). Make sure the pads are not loose that might be where your problem is… While you are there, check the calipers screws and make sure there are not loose.

  • Noise works, but when I push it, it also makes a clicking/rattling noise? I have a 2012 Ford Focus, and while the horn works, and sounds (as it normally does), when I press it, it also makes a weird clicking/rattling noise (also kinda like a jingle sound - hard to describe). It sounds as if it's coming from behind the center console/under the center console, but it's hard to tell. Any ideas what it could be? With any answers - any advice on how to fix it?   • Car vibrates when I come to a complete stop? I drive a 2001 Ford Focus and my parents bought the car for me in March of this year and it ran smooth and everything until about a month ago, maybe two months. Now whenever I come to a complete stop, it vibrates. It doesn't do it at all when I'm driving, only when the car is completely stopped. Does anybody know what could be wrong with it? I really don't have money to take it to a mechanic right now and don't want to have my parents pay for me to take it to a mechanic.
  • How much will it cost to replace a rear passenger side caliper and two read brake pads on a 2002 f150? My husband has a 2002 ford f150 and on his way home from work just before he got home the brakes became soft, he had to push it all the way to the floor. When he got out there was a burning smell from the rear passenger wheel well. I'm guessing the caliper needs replacing and probably brake pads. Any ideas?
