2001 ford escort blower issues?
I have a 01 escort I just recently bought and it has been sitting for 2 years. I've drove it for a couple days and the air and heat worked great in it until one morning it quit blowing. Did my blower go out or what? Any suggestions before I start ripping things apart?
Fuse was good. It had a bad ground to the blower.
Check the fuse for the blower motor. If the fuse is good, then it could be the switch or the blower motor.
It seems that the blower motor has the issue due to age, better to change the blower motor…
Check fuses first, then check for power at the motor.
- Gas gauge issues 2001 ford ranger 2wd manual 3.0 engine. 12 gallon gas tank? The gas gauge fluctuates between 3/8 and 7/8 somewhat correlating to the amount of gas in my tank but it isn't accurate. What can i do to try and fix this problem? I'm considering buying a 2001 Ford Escape, but it has a couple minor issues. 1) The seat belt warning indicator goes off every couple minutes, even when all the seat belts are buckled. 2) The PRNDL doesn't show what gear the car's in, although the gear shift work just fine. Are these simple, affordable fixes or would this car be a waste of money?
