Ford Escape Reliability Issues?

"I own the 2011 V6 Limited version, plenty of power, to get up and go. Little bit of torque steer, since it is FWD with AWD/4WD. But just keep your foot under control and it's like driving a sports car with a lift kit. Pros and Cons… Pros Great for snow, mud, just bad weather in general, one of the best. Ground clearance makes it nice.Cons Plastics inside are very cheap around the MSync control panel, glossy black is a scratch and fingerprint magnet. A few rattles especially from the large center console. Heated seats only have an "on" setting, non adjustable, and start within about 60 seconds but will burn you up. Handling (because of the narrow high center of gravity) is very poor. Would be very easy to roll in an emergency Lots of recalls, for the throttle body, transmission issues. Already had mine in after I got it used for a leak underneath the engine block. Under warranty, but a pain. Also I've heard a lot of other people who have lots of problems with the engine overall. Received favorable rating until about 2010. Via MSN Auto, USNEWS, etc. Electric seat positioning is limited, (roll lumbar), always feels like you're going to fall forward towards the steering wheel. Even with the seat put all the way down. Lacks any passenger seat comforts. No fold down arm rest in the back seats. Overall for the price of SUV's it's good, not great. I'm just waiting for something to go wrong based on all I've read about the overall dependability of the vehicle.Ford Escape Reliability Issues Added (1). Sorry had to get rid of some of the review I did, mostly pros. To many words.

That seems to be more of a review than an actual question…

  • 2015 Ford Mustang reliability/maintenance? I'm thinking of getting a 2015 Mustang V6 with manual trans. Everyone keeps telling me how unreliable American cars, especially Mustangs, are. But I think if you take care of it, it should run fine. This is a car I'd want to hold on to for a good while and learn to work on myself--but I've heard the 2015's have a lot of electrical components that make working on it yourself more difficult and something you've got to take into the shop. Thoughts please!
  • How to increase reliability on a Ford 300 inline 6? I know people say the Ford Inline 6 is pretty much bullet proof. I have one with 212k Miles and looking to rebuild it when I get some cash. Would Forged internals increase Reliability or just power. Now, if someone can give me a answer that'll make it more reliable and more power, well that's even better.
  • How is ford as compared to toyota/honda, in terms of reliability? I have always heard people saying that toyota (camry) and honda (accord) are really good cars in terms of reliability, less frequency of needing repairs and they can very easily cross 200,000 mile mark. But, does any one know how are Fords (fusion) when it comes to frequency of needing repairs and crossing 200k miles mark?
  • Reliability of a 1990 ford f150? I wrecked my old car and am buying a new car at the end of December when my house is done being built and my credit opens up. I needed a car to get to work for 2 months so i bought a 1990 f150 for $1000 to get me threw 2 months, so far it has driven fine, if i sit still for too long it starts to stutter and sometimes stalls in reverse if i leave it sitting, i was wondering what the chances are of it making it threw 2 months
