Failed Emissions for 2002 Ford Escape?
I have a 2002 Ford Escape. I had the oxygen plug to the engine replaced to fix the code when the check engine light came on a few weeks ago. I replaced the alternator and battery yesterday. No lights are on so I assumed I was good to go for inspection and emissions in NJ. My overall readiness for emissions failed with the following not ready: catalytic converter and evaporative system. The following were unsupported: heated catalytic converter, secondary air injection, and A/C refrigerant. Could this be from the computer needing more time to reset when the battery was replaced or am I just looking to drop a lot of money?
Not driven enough to reset. Read this post on monitors

- How do you determine if your car is under California or Federal emissions if your emissions sticker is gone? I have a 1993 ford taurus 3.8L V6 GL 4dr. Sedan. I need to know if my car is under California or federal emissions. I know you are suppose to have a sticker on your car that tells you but mine was destroyed over time so I really don't know. Is their another way to get this information? How would I find out?
- Failed emissions test trouble code P0462? I have a 2004 Ford Taurus that couldn't pass the emissions test due to this code P0462. Is this a faulty fuel level sensor? I had a problem about 1yr ago with the gas gauge showing the empty when it wasn't. But that seems to be ok now. Or could it be a fuel pump? I'm not sure what to do.
- My transmission has failed due to a recalled part does Ford have to replace the whole transmission or just the recalled part? I have a 2005 Ford Freestar minivan one night when I was driving home the transmission went out on it while I was on the highway. After doing some research we found that the torque converter is a recalled part on this model. If the torque converter is the reason for the transmission failure does Ford have to replace my whole transmission as well or just the torque converter?
- I just failed the Ohio echeck cause of the NO emissions levels were too high? I know high levels of NO is caused by overheating in the chambers. I just noticed that my air filter hose elbow has a small crack and can make the fuel mixture a little lean. I just don't want it to be the egr valve Any solutions or other causes? I HAVE1995 FORD PROBE. AND THE ENGINE LIGHT IS NOT ON So I don't know WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE
