2010 Ford Escape Hyrbrid Battery Issue?
Hi, so I recently purchased a new car battery for my ford escape hybrid about 2 months ago and this morning I have been running into an annoying problem with the car not starting and I don't know exactly what the root cause is. The car didn't start this morning so I charged it fully up to 12.5 volts (it was sitting at 10 volts when it wouldn t start). I waited about an hour and it dropped to 11 volts and it wouldn t start. After it did not start, I measured the voltage across the battery and noticed it dropped down to 10.5 volts after attempting to start it. Then i tried starting it again and it didn't start, then I measured the voltage and it dropped down to 10 volts. I did the exact same thing again and then it dropped down to 9.5 volts. Every time I attempted to start the car, i noticed the voltage dropped about .5 volts and I do not know if this means the battery is dead, or something else is draining the battery. Please let me know if you have any idea!
You need a new battery (starting battery not hybrid battery).

- My Ford Focus 2010 radio won't work. I Replaced the battery with a new one and now it's locked? I don't have the manual and all it says on it now is "Ford Focus". It doesn't even show the time. No matter what I press, it just stays on "Ford Focus".
- 2010 Ford focus see Sync issue? I just got a used 2010 Ford focus. I've been trying to sync up my phone, and I've been reading on how to do it. I press the phone button and try to scroll to "add Bluetooth device" but it doesn't scroll. It just says "no phone" no matter what button I press or knob I turn. Am I missing something?
- New alternator and battery but battery still won't charge in my ford explorer 93? My battery wouldnt charge So i just replaced my alternator a few days ago knowing it would fix the problem. It appears that the alternator was not the problem. I've got a brand new alternor and when i check the battery(running car), it just stays on 12.5V and doesn't go up. I tried using it yesterday and it just drained out on me. I tried 3 good batteries already and checked if they charge in my car but they don't. Oh, the alternator came with a volt regulator.
- Would ABS issue drain battery? I have a 2000 Ford Expedition. Last week, my ABS light came on. Read the manual and it said that the breaks would perform normally, but to have it checked out. When I turned the car off, I could still hear a sound as if a motor was still running, but I could not determine where the sound was coming from. Before I was able to take it to the mechanic, the battery was completely drained. Had not heard that noise before the ABS light came on.
