Ford Edge and engine light?
My 2007 Frod Edge engine light just came on. It is a solid light. Is it safe to drive? I live 35 miles from town. Would I make it? Don't have money for tow.
It should make it if it's just an engine light with no other effects from the engine. Do send it to a workshop soon though or it could mean serious damage.
Yellow caution light is that a caution you can drive it. Stop by an AutoZone or one of the many places that checks for free. They will scan it for a code, that you can post for help, but if is not running really poor drive it.

Reds dead, call for tow.lights yellow be mellow, get to shop at your convenience.
Do not buy anything. That code does not tell you exactly what part is bad ie: O2 codes are usually air intake or fuel problems.
- What's causes car to jerk and the check engine light to go on and off? My car was working fine yesterday! It's a 2005 ford explore. I went to turn it on earlier and it started jerking a lot! I let if warm up a bit than the check engine light came on than it went off and on again. It keeps turning on and off! I know I need to change my spark plugs soon! Can it been the spark plugs causing it to jerk and the light to turn on and off?
- 2003 Ford Taurus SES oil light and gas cap light? My cars oil light (red) and gas cap light (yellow light down and left from the oil light) is on in my car. I used a scan tool and no codes came up. It's not leaking oil and everything is fine. I just do not know why the two lights are on? I bought the car about two months ago and the lights were on before i bought the car… any reason they're on?

- 2006 Ford Mustang with ABS light and TCS light. What do I do? I recently got an 06 Mustang with an ABS light and TCS light on. I had it checked out just by a quick view. The guy does not believe my hub assembly or bearings are bad. I replaced the ABs sensor and it still did not seem to help. When I had it scanned the computer said it is the passenger rear ABS. I have no grinding, no noises, no issues driving, but I want to fix it properly. Does anyone have any ideas on what steps to take now?
