Basically though you can weigh the truck loaded, then subtract that weight from the GCWR (Gross Combined Weight Rating) and the result will be the weight it's safe to tow. The GCWR is a combination of the truck weight, when loaded, and the tow vehicle's weight.
Towing capacity depends on how the vehicle is equipped.
