What is the maximum speed of the truck ford f-350 diesel 6cyl 86hp 1965?

A '65 one ton might get 65 mph going down hill with a stiff tail wind. Obviously the diesel was not an option in '65 from Ford. My son is building a '84 Chevy 1 ton. Its top speed will be 75 mph with the Cummins running at the stock 2600 rpm. If he decides to put a 4000 rpm governor spring in it, he will get 115 mph.

I don't think ford made a 6 cyl diesel in an F350 in 1965, if I recall the first ones were around 1984-1985. And were not good engines at all due to inferior quality injection pumps. They did put diesels in their larger trucks at that time, but not in F350's. I promise you none of those early diesels had a lot of speed, that was not what these engines were made for.
